Hanoi's streets are adorned with flags and flowers to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

According to observations by Thanh Nien newspaper these days, throughout the streets and many historically, culturally, and politically significant locations in Hanoi such as Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hoan Kiem Lake, government offices, parks, etc., the emblem of the 14th National Congress of the Party, featuring the red flag with a golden hammer and sickle, is displayed prominently and harmoniously with the urban landscape.

The building opposite the National Convention Center displays the national flag to welcome the congress. The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam will officially take place in Hanoi from January 19-25, with the participation of 1,586 delegates representing more than 5 million members of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The congress will also welcome former leaders of the Party and State, former members of the Politburo, former members of the Secretariat, former members of the Central Committee, as well as representatives of intellectuals, artists, religious dignitaries, and outstanding youth from all over the country.
