Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung: Preserving the precious tradition of solidarity in every village

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung asked Cao Bang to take better care of people's lives, especially policy beneficiaries, poor households, near-poor households, and people living in particularly difficult areas.

On November 14, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung and his delegation attended the National Great Unity Day in Na Coc residential area, Thach An commune, Cao Bang province.

Speaking at the festival, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung emphasized that solidarity is a precious tradition throughout the past struggle for national independence and unification as well as in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland today. The strength of great national solidarity is an important driving force and a decisive factor in all victories of the Vietnamese revolution...

The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that in 2025, the Party and State have resolutely and synchronously carried out many important tasks such as: carrying out the revolution in arranging and streamlining the apparatus and organization of local governments at two levels; promoting economic growth to reach 8% or more in 2025; thoroughly grasping and organizing the implementation of the Politburo 's breakthrough Resolutions; organizing Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress; focusing on preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, which have caused heavy damage in many localities...

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Cao Bang province and the residential areas of Na Coc and Thach An commune have achieved, contributing to the overall development of the country.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations of Cao Bang province, Thach An commune in general, and Na Coc residential area in particular to continue promoting the fine traditions and achievements, deploying and successfully implementing the goals set out in the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; continue to mobilize people to strengthen the strength of great solidarity, successfully complete the political-economic, cultural-social, security-defense tasks of the locality.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested Cao Bang province to correctly identify, exploit and promote the local development potential and advantages; continue to pay more attention and care for people's lives, especially policy beneficiaries, poor households, near-poor households, and people living in extremely difficult areas; create conditions for people in Na Coc residential area to promote their self-management role in the community; maintain and increasingly improve the quality of the national solidarity festival in residential areas, so that the festival is truly an important event in community life, contributing to strengthening village and neighborhood relationships, connecting cadres and party members with the people.

Na Coc residential area has 117 households, 480 people with 4 ethnic groups (Tay, Nung, Kinh, Dao) living together in harmony and solidarity.

Despite the difficult conditions, people contributed 60 working days and 2,000 square meters of land, and donated 5 million VND to build roads and welfare works. The rate of poor households decreased to 7.6%, and near-poor households to 11.9%.

The movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has developed strongly, 96.5% of households have achieved the title of Cultural Family; residential areas have been recognized as "Cultural Hamlets in 2025."

Cultural, sports, gratitude, and environmental sanitation activities are maintained regularly, contributing to enriching the spiritual life and connecting the community of the residential area.

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung visited, encouraged and presented gifts to Mr. Nong Quoc Toan's family (Na Coc hamlet, Thach An commune) who suffered heavy damage due to storms No. 10 and 11; and presented gifts to people in Na Coc residential area, Thach An commune, Cao Bang province./.
