On the morning of November 25, the Talkshow “Intelligent Generation NOW” opened the main activities of the Autumn Economic Forum 2025 with the theme “Green transformation in the digital age”.

The event brought together a diverse community of speakers, demonstrating the connection between the Government, academia, businesses and youth... to discuss and identify the global context and the role of young people in green and sustainable transformation. At the same time, it analyzed the challenges and opportunities of Vietnamese youth in international competition and called on stakeholders to join hands in building an ecosystem to support the young generation, creating conditions for them to contribute to the future of the country.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son emphasized that the world is witnessing profound changes of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and new trends such as digital transformation, green transformation, knowledge economy, circular economy, etc. These changes have a strong impact on every country, business and individual, especially the youth.
For Vietnam, the goal of becoming an upper-middle-income country by 2030 and a high-income country by 2045 requires many historic policy decisions. In particular, science and technology, innovation and digital transformation are identified as the leading driving forces for rapid and sustainable growth. In addition, education and training, human resource development, social security and health care for the people continue to be priorities throughout.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that Vietnam considers green transformation in the digital age not only a trend of the times but also a "future imperative" to achieve sustainable development goals.
"In every decision, the young generation - the future owners of the country - is always placed at the center, with great trust and expectations.
Vietnam's greatest advantage is its more than 100 million people, of which the intelligent, creative and enthusiastic young generation is the core force to realize the aspiration of bringing the country "on par with the world powers", Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son affirmed.
The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that young people clearly recognize the opportunities and challenges of the times, and prepare the best luggage for the journey to conquer their dreams.
“No one can prepare the future for young people better than you. The Government is committed to unlocking all resources for innovation and sustainable development, but the most effective users of those resources must be the young generation,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized, calling on young people to study and practice to become “talented and virtuous” people. Start a business, not only to enrich yourself and your family, but also for the bright future of the entire nation, for a green, clean, peaceful, stable and prosperous world.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc said that after merging three localities, the city is in a period of strong transformation to become an international megacity, a center of innovation, technology, finance and knowledge of the whole country. In that process, human resources, especially the young generation, play an important role.
Ho Chi Minh City leaders also said that the city will continue to invest heavily in digital infrastructure and human resources. In particular, it will cooperate with universities and research centers to train a team of high-tech experts, AI engineers, and data scientists, ensuring that you have enough skills to lead the digital economy.
