Here, the delegation of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long inspected the facilities and reception area; directly encouraged students and staff who were completing procedures before entering the exam room tomorrow.

According to the report of the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, this year, Nghe An has 36,956 candidates registered to take the exam, arranged 70 exam sites with 1,671 exam rooms. This is the locality with the 4th largest number of candidates and exam sites in the country. All exam sites are arranged at schools with good facilities and convenient transportation.

The province has mobilized about 8,000 people to take part in the exam. Food safety and hygiene, disease prevention, security and order, inspection of facilities and plans to support food, accommodation, and student pick-up and drop-off have all been prepared. The province's stance is to resolutely not allow students from difficult circumstances or for other objective reasons to be excluded from taking the exam.

The current difficulty of Nghe An province is the transportation of exam papers due to the large area, many exam locations are far from Vinh city, nearly 300km. In addition, hot weather and unusual natural disasters can occur in mountainous areas, affecting the exam process of students.

However, the province has also directed the development of contingency plans to promptly respond to any unusual situations that may arise, ensuring absolute safety for the exam.

After surveying the situation and working with the Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam of Nghe An province, the Deputy Prime Minister assessed: With the close direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the coordination between relevant departments, branches and organizations, up to now, the preparation work for organizing the 2024 High School Graduation Exam of Nghe An province has been completed.

Emphasizing that this is the last exam to be conducted according to the 2006 General Education Program, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that the Prime Minister's instructions in Directive No. 15 and Official Dispatch No. 60 must be fully implemented with the motto and viewpoint: good preparation, no subjectivity, safety and creating the most favorable conditions for candidates to take the exam. Proactively handle any situation arising related to the exam, no matter how small.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long also asked teachers to pay attention to creating a comfortable atmosphere, both before and during the exam, so that students can do their tests with peace of mind.

The Deputy Prime Minister wished Nghe An province a safe, effective and regulated exam; at the same time, he believed that with the tradition of studiousness of Nghe An people, the province would have a successful exam and achieve the highest results.

Speaking at the inspection, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung expressed that the inspection of the exam preparation work by the Deputy Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Nghe An shows the deep concern of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Deputy Prime Minister for the organization of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam.

Receiving the direction, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province affirmed: Up to this point, Nghe An province has carefully prepared and is confident in successfully organizing the 2024 High School Graduation Exam. Although having a lot of experience and successfully organizing many exams in previous years, Nghe An is not subjective. This spirit has been thoroughly communicated to all departments, branches, localities and members of the Provincial Steering Committee.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province also committed: Nghe An will organize the 2024 High School Graduation Exam successfully, safely, conveniently, with quality and efficiency; meeting the direction of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, as well as the wishes and aspirations of parents and students.
