Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh attends the "Happy Vietnam" Award Ceremony 2025

VHO - On the evening of December 6, at Dong Kinh - Nghia Thuc Square (Hanoi), within the framework of "Vietnam Happy Fest 2025", the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism chaired and coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists to organize the "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam" 2025 Media Award Ceremony on Human Rights.

Attending the ceremony were members of the Party Central Committee: Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh.

Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam is a media award on human rights in Vietnam organized annually by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This is a popular award for authors, both professional and non-professional, Vietnamese and foreigners, at home or abroad, can participate.

The award is organized to discover and honor meaningful moments and stories in all aspects of Vietnam's political, economic, cultural and social life through photos and videos submitted by domestic and international authors, in order to vividly affirm Vietnam's achievements in the field of human rights.

In 2025, the Award will be held for the third time, launched nationwide to attract the participation of a large number of authors from all over the country.

Art program at the Award Ceremony

This year, the contest attracted more than 4,600 authors with more than 17,000 photos and video clips; 1.7 times higher than last year. Each work is a touching story, a true slice of Vietnam; the peaceful, beautiful life, changing positively every day of the Vietnamese people.

In each contest category (photo and video), the Organizing Committee will award 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes, 10 Consolation prizes, and 1 prize for the most voted work.

In addition, the Organizing Committee encourages and awards 1 creative prize in each category (photo and video) for works with new ideas, creativity in content and form of expression.
