On November 25, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh led a working delegation to inspect the actual construction progress of component project 3 - Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 section through Dong Nai.
According to the report of the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board (project investor), the Component 3 project through the area has a length of 11.26km (excluding Component 1A project).
The starting point of the route Km0+000 is in Phuoc An commune, the ending point is at Nhon Trach bridge in Nhon Trach commune. The total investment of the project is 2,584 billion VND (central budget 50%, local budget 50%).
In which, component project 3 (construction of belt road 3 through Dong Nai province) only builds 5km of expressway (from Km0+000 - Km5+000) and connects to component project 1A at the intersection of DT 25B road.
In addition, the project also invests in building parallel roads along both sides of the highway for the entire route, from Km0+000 to the beginning of Nhon Trach bridge, including 2 bridges over Rach Chay river on the parallel road.
Component 3 project has 3 main construction packages. Up to now, the total value of the packages has reached more than 1,100 billion VND, reaching more than 60% of the signed contract value.
Currently, contractors are focusing on maximizing human resources, machinery, and equipment to speed up construction progress to complete the project's technical traffic opening before December 19 as requested by the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the survey, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged the efforts of the team of engineers and workers working directly at the construction site of Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road 3.
The Deputy Prime Minister assessed that the project plays an important role in connecting Dong Nai with Ho Chi Minh City. When completed, the project will promote investment efficiency for other projects that have been and are being invested, create new development space, exploit land use potential, and build a sustainable and modern urban system.
At the same time, note that there is not much time left from now until December 19, so relevant units need to take advantage of good weather, increase human resources and machinery to "work day and night" to complete the goal of opening the project to technical traffic before December 19 as required by the Prime Minister. However, speeding up the progress must ensure the quality of construction.
