Accompanying the delegation were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province Nguyen Thanh Hai, representatives of departments, branches, communes and wards in Tay Ninh province.
Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Muoi (born in 1934) in Hamlet 4, My Thanh Commune, whose husband and children are martyrs.
On behalf of the Party, State and Government leaders, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh kindly visited and encouraged mother Tran Thi Muoi to live happily and healthily, and for her children and grandchildren to uphold the family tradition and contribute to building a strong and prosperous homeland and country.

Next, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and his delegation came to burn incense in memory of martyr Pham Van Vinh; visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Phan Thi Phuong, wife of martyr Pham Van Vinh in My Thanh commune. Martyr Pham Van Vinh was a soldier of Division 330, Military Region 9, and died in 1985.

On the same morning, the delegation also visited and encouraged the family of martyr Pham Van Hoa in Hamlet 5, Thu Thua Commune (martyr Pham Van Hoa was a squad leader, Sergeant, unit B21, Long An, died in 1961); visited the family of wounded soldier Dang Ngoc Toan (born in 1940), and visited sick soldier Phan Van Khai (born in 1954). At the places visited, the Deputy Prime Minister visited and encouraged the relatives of the martyrs, wounded soldiers and sick soldiers.
During the working trip, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh also visited, encouraged and wished good health to comrade Duong Quoc Xuan, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Long An province, a cadre who participated in the resistance war.

According to the Department of Home Affairs of Tay Ninh province, currently, the whole province has over 143,000 people recognized and enjoying the regime of meritorious people, including more than 6,850 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, 14,200 wounded and sick soldiers, nearly 42,000 relatives of martyrs and thousands of cases of resistance activities, exposure to toxic chemicals...
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, along with the whole country, Tay Ninh plans to organize many activities to honor the sacrifices and contributions of those who contributed to the revolution in the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland.
