Also attending were Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

With a total investment of VND8,800 billion, the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project (phase 1), the section passing through Tuyen Quang province, has a route length of 77 km and the planned implementation period is from 2022 to 2027.

Construction materials and site clearance work of the project so far meet requirements compared to the proposed schedule.

The project has a total of 7 construction packages (5 road construction packages, 1 bridge construction package, 1 lighting system construction package). Up to now, the construction units have simultaneously implemented the construction of 6/6 road and bridge construction packages on the route; deployed more than 114 construction teams; the total number of machinery and equipment on the route is nearly 1,058 pieces of equipment; the number of human resources is 1,009 people. The total cumulative construction value reached 51.3%.

In the rainy and flooded weather conditions of October, the construction site had to temporarily stop for several days because it was impossible to dig and fill the roadbed, thus greatly affecting the progress.

For Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway (phase 1), the section passing through Ha Giang province (old), the Project has a total route length of 27.48 km; total investment of more than 5,028 billion VND. Project implementation period: 2022 - 2026.

Regarding the implementation of the 2-lane scale, the investment progress meets the requirements. With the determination to complete the project in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister, Tuyen Quang province has focused on directing and removing difficulties and obstacles; working in 3 shifts, 4 teams, striving to complete the project in 2025.

Regarding the implementation of the 4-lane scale, the project is in the process of establishing construction design drawings. Due to the prolonged rainy weather and rising river water, the work, moving survey troops on the route, and drilling geological structures on the bridges have not been carried out.
