Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh received Pastor Franklin

Pastor Franklin affirmed that he will continue to make efforts to have meaningful charity activities and programs in Vietnam in the coming time.

On the morning of December 2, at the Government headquarters, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh received Pastor Franklin, President of the Samaritan's Purse (USA) relief and missionary organization, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

Welcoming Pastor Franklin's third visit and work in Vietnam, bringing with him many meaningful messages of charity and humanity, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh highly appreciated and thanked the clean water, rural sanitation, and charity projects to help people in difficult circumstances that Samaritan's Purse has implemented in Vietnam in recent times.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh also said that the Vietnamese Government is currently promoting the implementation of a program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide; providing housing support for meritorious people in difficult circumstances; and providing housing support for people under national target programs. Therefore, the programs that Samaritan's Purse has been implementing in Vietnam are of practical significance, contributing to supporting people in difficult circumstances.

It is known that on December 3, Pastor Franklin will travel to Can Tho city to attend the Sacred Music Program. Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh believes that the Pastor will have interesting practical experiences about the rich religious life of Vietnam in Can Tho.

With his good heart and deep understanding of Vietnam, the First Deputy Prime Minister hopes that Pastor Franklin and his colleagues will continue to have more practical activities in supporting charity programs, overcoming damage caused by climate change, and supporting children and people with difficult circumstances in their studies and lives.

On the occasion of Christmas and the approaching New Year 2025, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister wishes Pastor Franklin and the members of the Delegation a peaceful, happy Christmas and a New Year filled with God's grace.

Thanking Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh for taking the time to meet him, Pastor Franklin expressed his deep impression after each time returning to Vietnam, he witnessed with his own eyes the changes and comprehensive, great achievements that Vietnam has achieved in the socio-economic fields, especially in implementing the goal of poverty reduction, and taking care of social security and welfare.

Pastor Franklin affirmed to continue his efforts to have meaningful volunteer activities and programs in Vietnam in the coming time as well as to have promotional activities, contributing to bringing the image of the beautiful, hospitable, friendly, and religiously free Vietnamese country and people to the US Government and people as well as international friends.
