Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang celebrates Christmas in Binh Thuan

Receiving Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and leaders of Binh Thuan province at Phan Thiet Bishop's Palace were Bishop Giuse Do Manh Hung, General Secretary of the Vietnam Bishops' Council, Bishop of Phan Thiet Diocese, and many priests.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that in the context of the country being affected by complicated developments in the world and region, under the wise leadership of the Party and State, the direction and administration of the Government, and the joint efforts of the entire political system and people of the whole country, the country's socio-economic situation continued to grow, foreign affairs achieved many important results, and political security and social order and safety were maintained.

The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the achievements of the past year included great efforts and contributions from Catholics. He hoped that in the coming time, Bishop Joseph Do Manh Hung and other priests and monks in the diocese would promote their roles and encourage Catholics to continue to implement the Party's policies and the State's laws.

Bishop Joseph Do Manh Hung expressed his joy at the great achievements that Vietnam in general and Binh Thuan in particular have achieved in the past year, notably the completion and putting into operation of the expressway through Binh Thuan province, and the successful organization of the National Tourism Year 2023.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and Binh Thuan Party Secretary visited Phan Thiet Bishop's House and congratulated the 2023 Christmas season in Binh Thuan, on the morning of December 16.

Bishop Giuse Do Manh Hung sincerely thanks the deep concern of the leaders of the Party, State, Government, and Binh Thuan province for always creating favorable conditions for the Phan Thiet Diocese to operate stably, as well as on important holidays of Catholics.

In the coming time, Catholics of Phan Thiet Diocese will continue to implement the State's policies and laws, live a good life and practice good religion, actively participate in emulation movements launched by the locality to build the homeland and country to become increasingly prosperous.
