On the afternoon of January 13th, the People's Procuracy of An Giang province, in coordination with the Provincial Police, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Inspectorate, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Industry and Trade, U Minh Thuong National Park, Phu Quoc National Park, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4, Border Guard Unit 28, the Provincial Tax Department, the Customs Sub-department of Region XX, and the Fisheries Inspection Sub-department of Region V, held a conference to summarize inter-agency coordination in receiving and resolving denunciations and reports of crimes, and recommending prosecution during the 2021-2025 period, and to sign the new inter-agency coordination regulations. During the period 2021-2025, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Police Department, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Inspectorate, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Industry and Trade, U Minh Thuong National Park, Phu Quoc National Park, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4, Border Guard Unit 28, the Provincial Tax Department, the Customs Sub-department of Region XX, and the Fisheries Inspection Sub-department of Region 5 have basically organized and implemented well the work of receiving and resolving denunciations and reports of crimes, and requests for prosecution.

The performance indicators in this area of ​​work have all met and exceeded the regulations set by the National Assembly , the Government, and the ministries and agencies at the central level.

The prosecuting authorities received a total of 19,073 reports and denunciations of crimes and requests for prosecution (an increase of 8.4% compared to the same period); 18,750 cases were resolved (reaching 98.3%).

Specifically, the Provincial Police received and processed 18,870 reports and denunciations of crimes and requests for prosecution; and resolved 18,373 cases (achieving 97.3%).

The Provincial People's Procuracy exercised its power of prosecution and supervised the receipt and handling of 19,073 cases (achieving 100%); directly supervised the receipt and handling of denunciations and reports of crimes, and recommended prosecution in 172 cases; issued 183 recommendations to remedy violations and prevent crimes…

At the conference, the Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy, Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, presented Resolution No. 02-NQ/TU, dated December 25, 2025, of the Provincial Party Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over crime prevention and control in the province during the 2025-2030 period.

The participating units presented papers on solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of inter-agency coordination in the fight against crime in the new phase.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Nhat Truong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, requested that all sectors continue to effectively implement directives, resolutions, programs, and plans of the Party, the National Assembly, the Government , and relevant ministries and sectors in the fight against crime; and to receive and handle denunciations and reports of crimes, and requests for prosecution.

Strengthen coordination between investigative agencies and agencies tasked with conducting investigations. Promote public awareness and encourage people to take responsibility in detecting crimes in residential areas, promptly reporting them to local police and specialized agencies for investigation and resolution, and recommending prosecution.
