Coordinate to handle backlog in site clearance of Dau Giay

The Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project has a total length of more than 60km, the starting point of the project intersects with National Highway 1 and coincides with the end point of the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway in Dau Giay Commune, Dong Nai Province; the end point crosses the intersection with National Highway 20 in Phu Lam Commune, Dong Nai Province. The project is invested under the public-private partnership (PPP) method and was started in August 2025.

To implement the project, Dong Nai province must reclaim nearly 312 hectares of land in the communes of Dau Giay, Gia Kiem, Binh Loc, Dinh Quan, Xuan Bac, Tan Phu, Nam Cat Tien, Phu Hoa, Phu Lam. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center and its branches Thong Nhat, Dinh Quan, Xuan Loc and Project Management Board of Region 11 are assigned to coordinate with localities to carry out land reclamation and site clearance for the project.

As planned, for the section passing through Xuan Bac commune, Dong Nai province, the locality will approve the land price plan before November 15, 2025; Xuan Loc Land Fund Development Center Branch will complete the compensation and support plan, publicly post it and submit it for approval before December 15, 2025. In December 2025, the authorities will organize compensation payments, handle backlogs and problems to hand over the entire site to the construction unit.

For the section through Dau Giay, Gia Kiem and Binh Loc communes, implemented by the Thong Nhat Land Fund Development Center Branch, the site is expected to be handed over to the construction unit before November 30, 2025.

Regarding the progress of relocating the power infrastructure, up to now, the Thong Nhat and Dinh Quan Land Fund Development Center Branches have coordinated with the consulting unit to complete the survey and are expected to approve it before November 15, 2025. After the task outline is approved, the consulting unit will complete the design plan for relocating the power system and submit it to the Department of Industry and Trade for appraisal and approval in December 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha requested localities, departments, branches and units to coordinate in handling outstanding issues in site clearance work, avoiding prolonging the project implementation time. Officials and civil servants working on site clearance must apply solutions to mobilize and create high consensus among the people so that compensation work can be carried out quickly.

Local and unit leaders must pay attention and closely direct the progress of work each week. In particular, advocacy work must be prioritized to minimize complaints and lawsuits beyond the level. Units and localities must reduce meetings, strengthen supervision and on-site inspections to promptly find solutions to remove difficulties in the process of project site clearance.
