Preventing and responding to gender-based violence

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the Action Month for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in 2025 in the province, with the theme "Gender Equality and Safety for Women and Girls in the Digital Age".

The plan aims to enhance the role, responsibility and effectiveness of coordination at all levels and sectors, thereby mobilizing the strength of the entire political system and the entire population to participate in implementing gender equality, preventing and responding to gender-based violence; communicating to raise public awareness about the importance of gender equality and safety for women and girls in the digital age; promoting community and social actions to protect the safety of women and girls against risks and dangers when accessing online platforms.

Students participated in a painting contest with the theme "Girls' World " organized by the Population Department.

At the same time, implementing gender equality, preventing and responding to violence against women and girls in the application of science and technology, digital transformation; raising awareness to change gender-unequal concepts, attitudes and behaviors, encouraging women to participate actively, proactively, and have safety skills on online platforms...

The month of action takes place from November 15 to December 15, with the main activities: Organizing a launching ceremony; enhancing communication, focusing on social networks (facebook, fanpage, youtube...); forums, dialogues, seminars, workshops, training, competitions on the topic of gender equality and safety for women in digital space; cultural and sports exchanges...
