Prevent resolutely - fight resolutely, no forbidden zones

On the afternoon of November 11, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held a conference to review the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity (PCTN, LP, TC) during the 13th Party Congress. The conference was chaired by comrades: Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Waste, and TC; Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, representatives of the Central Internal Affairs Committee ; leaders of agencies and units that are members of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Anti-Corruption, and Anti-Corruption. The conference was connected online to 124 Party Committees of communes and wards in the province with over 1,200 delegates attending.

Many outstanding results, strengthening people's trust

During the 2020-2025 term, the work of anti-corruption, anti-corruption and anti-corruption in the province has achieved many outstanding results. Party committees and organizations at all levels have strengthened leadership and direction, promptly issued many documents to concretize the Central's policies; propaganda and education work has been innovated and widely spread, contributing to forming a culture of integrity and non-corruption among cadres, party members and people.

Inspection, supervision and audit work was carried out comprehensively, with focus and key points. During the term, Party committees and organizations at all levels inspected 7,150 Party organizations and 16,839 Party members; inspected 25 Party organizations and 267 Party members when there were signs of violations. Inspection committees at all levels conducted inspections when there were signs of violations in 359 Party organizations and 1,090 Party members. Inspection agencies conducted 4,767 inspections, discovered economic violations of more than 149 billion VND, and recommended criminal prosecution of 139 organizations and 642 individuals.

The investigation, prosecution and trial of TN, LP and TC cases were carried out strictly, with “no forbidden zones”. During the period, the authorities received and handled 125 reports. They accepted and resolved 175 cases/358 defendants for corruption and negativity, and prosecuted 165 cases/342 defendants.

Lessons learned from the work of PCTN, LP, TC during the 13th Party Congress term show that: Political determination must be the top guiding principle. All successes originate from the direct, comprehensive, focused and unified leadership and direction of the Party Committee, with the exemplary and pioneering role of the head; the Party Committee must be truly resolute, say what you do and clearly assign responsibilities to each organization and individual, then this work will go into depth.

In addition, it is necessary to regularly strengthen inspection, supervision and monitoring to prevent violations early and from afar, focusing on sensitive areas. When violations are detected, they must be handled strictly, promptly and synchronously between Party and government discipline and criminal handling, without any forbidden areas or exceptions. Along with that, it is necessary to promote propaganda, education, build a culture of integrity and thrift, and create social consensus so that the work of anti-corruption, anti-corruption and anti-corruption achieves the highest efficiency.

Delegates focused on discussing and comprehensively evaluating the work of detecting, investigating, advising on handling corruption, waste, and negative cases; detecting and handling through inspection activities, resolving complaints and denunciations; exercising the right to prosecute and control judicial activities in the trial of related cases. Many opinions clearly analyzed the characteristics and difficulties in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negative cases in border areas, proposed solutions to strengthen coordination, ensure discipline and integrity among cadres...

Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh praised the achievements and emphasized that the work of anti-corruption, anti-corruption, and anti-corruption is a regular and continuous task, closely linked to the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system. He also frankly pointed out the causes of the shortcomings and limitations in the work of anti-corruption, anti-corruption, and anti-corruption. Some Party committees at some times and places have not yet performed well the work of anti-corruption, anti-corruption, and anti-corruption, leading to incidents, and some officials and Party members who violated the law must be disciplined.

Agencies with functions of PCTN, LP, TC focus on perfecting advisory agencies to ensure a strong and streamlined apparatus, constantly improving capacity in all tasks of inspection, supervision, and handling of violations; improving state management capacity in all fields, especially sensitive fields; proactively proposing effective solutions in PCTN, LP, TC work.

He also suggested that it is necessary to make administrative procedures transparent in conjunction with digital transformation, data digitization, and information disclosure; fully implement policies so that there are no more opportunities for corruption and negativity. Along with that, step up inspection, supervision, investigation, and resolutely handle corruption and negativity cases and cases, without any forbidden areas or exceptions; at the same time, step up propaganda and promote the supervisory role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and the People in this work; urge and resolutely carry out the work of enforcing judgments to overcome the consequences caused by TN, LP, TC cases; perfect coordination mechanisms between agencies in the work of anti-corruption, LP, TC, etc.
