Phu Huu achieved and exceeded 14 out of 15 socio-economic development targets.

On January 22nd, the People's Committee of Phu Huu commune (An Giang province) held a conference to summarize the achievements of 2025 and discuss directions and tasks for 2026. Mr. Tran Thanh Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Huu commune, presided over the meeting.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Huu commune, Tran Thanh Nghi, presented certificates of commendation from the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune to collectives and individuals who excellently completed their tasks in 2025.

In 2025, despite facing many difficulties, under the decisive leadership and guidance of the Party Committee and the government, along with the consensus of the people, Phu Huu commune made efforts to overcome challenges and implemented many solutions comprehensively. As a result, it achieved and exceeded 14 out of 15 targets in socio -economic development, improved the material and spiritual lives of the people, and maintained national defense and security.

The average growth rate reached 7%; average per capita income reached 58.5 million VND/person/year; total state budget revenue in the area exceeded 3.7 billion VND; the rate of trained labor reached 100%; the poverty rate decreased by 2.43%, achieving 129% of the target set in the resolution… Agricultural production continued to play a pivotal role and achieved many results, with total food production estimated at 88,917 tons.

The commune mobilized a total social investment capital of 26.834 billion VND, focusing on transportation infrastructure, education , and projects serving the people's needs. Rural transportation infrastructure continues to be upgraded and expanded, creating favorable conditions for trade and goods transportation.

In 2026, Phu Huu commune will focus on implementing key socio-economic development targets: Total state budget revenue in the area exceeding 11 billion VND; average annual growth rate of total product value in the area reaching 7.5%; total social investment capital of 26.834 billion VND; average per capita income reaching 65 million VND/year; poverty rate according to the multidimensional poverty standard reaching 1.5%; percentage of schools meeting national standards reaching 25%; percentage of people participating in health insurance reaching 95.5%...
