Women in Ca Mau are dynamic and compassionate.

For many years, studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh has become a regular and voluntary task for female cadres and members in Ca Mau province. Beyond mere propaganda, women's associations at all levels have concretized the learning and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh through many practical movements and models that are close to daily life.

Models of mutual development

Implementing the emulation movement "Building the Vietnamese woman of the new era," the Provincial Women's Union has concretized it through many practical movements, linked to studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, such as: "Building the woman of Ca Mau of the new era," and " Ca Mau women united, creative, dynamic, actively helping each other to reduce poverty and achieve legitimate wealth."

Following President Ho Chi Minh's example of being close to and connected with the people, Women's Union officials at all levels proactively stay close to their localities, regularly visiting each household to understand the thoughts and circumstances of female members. The spread of solidarity and mutual support from the Union's movements has helped many poor women acquire capital for small businesses, livestock farming, garden improvement, vocational training, and job creation. Many women, who previously struggled financially, have gradually risen out of poverty and stabilized their lives through their own diligence and determination.

Creating livelihoods for disadvantaged women.

For nearly 10 years, on the 22nd of each month, members of the "Storytelling and Following the Example of Uncle Ho" model in Hamlet 31, Tan Thanh Ward, have gathered to listen to stories about Uncle Ho, share life experiences, and discuss effective methods for developing family economies . After each meeting, members draw lots to contribute to a revolving fund . On average, each member receives about 4 million VND to invest in their family's economic development. Those who receive the capital set aside a small portion to support members who are sick or in need. Since its establishment, the model has supported 66 members.

In Hung My commune, the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings are concretized through many models of caring for poor women members, such as "Rice Jar of Compassion," "Piggy Bank," "Saving for Poor Women," and "Collecting Scrap Materials"... Among them, the "Piggy Bank for Buying Pigs" model of the Women's Association in Thi Tuong hamlet, with 3 groups and 62 members participating, has supported many women in difficult circumstances to buy piglets for breeding, gradually developing their family economy.

Ms. Quách Thuý Trọn and other members of the "Saving money in piggy banks to buy pork" model participate in putting their savings into piggy banks to raise funds to support women members in developing their economy.

Ms. Tran Anh Hong, Head of the Women's Association in Thi Tuong Hamlet, shared: "Although the amount saved each day is not much, when the women join hands, it creates a meaningful source of capital that helps many members develop their family's economy."

Through concrete and practical actions, the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style are increasingly deepening within the Women's Union at all levels in Ca Mau province. This enhances the role of the Union in caring for and protecting the rights of its members, building the image of a dynamic, compassionate, and ambitious woman of Ca Mau in the new era.
