Women of Hoang Mai "offer the Lord a song of May"

This activity commemorates the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), and is also aimed at welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union, term 2026 - 2031.

In her opening remarks, the Chairwoman of the Women's Union of the ward, Nguyen Thi Kim Thu, emphasized: During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always showed deep concern for Vietnamese women. He once affirmed: "The beautiful land of Vietnam is made even more beautiful and radiant by the efforts of our women, young and old, who have worked hard to weave and embroider it."

Bearing in mind President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, the Women's Union of the ward has continuously innovated its content and methods of operation, effectively implementing many emulation movements and campaigns full of humanistic values such as: "Building the loyal, creative, capable, and elegant women of Hanoi", "Women helping each other develop the economy ", "Women-managed green, clean, and beautiful roads and streets", along with many activities to care for the lives of members and children in difficult circumstances.

In particular, the "Godmother" and "Accompanying Your Child" programs have become shining examples of love within the Association.

The Women's Union of the ward also consistently pays attention to visiting, giving gifts, and providing timely encouragement to female members in difficult circumstances and vulnerable women through concrete actions: supporting economic development, providing shelters for the needy, giving gifts to disadvantaged families, organizing social welfare activities, and promoting humanitarian and charitable programs for the community.

At the event, the Organizing Committee presented gifts to 15 women who have overcome difficult circumstances in life. On this occasion, the Association also awarded funding for the "Godmother" program for the second quarter of 2026 to support three orphaned children in difficult circumstances in the area.

The highlight of the program was the spectacular folk art and dance festival. The songs and dances not only showcased the talent and grace of the women of Hoang Mai but also served as beautiful flowers offered to the beloved President Ho Chi Minh.
