Turning the dream of owning a home and establishing a stable life into reality.
Celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse, the family of Ms. Tran Thi Cuc, born in 1956, a disadvantaged female member of Women's Association Branch No. 34, Ba Dinh Ward, is filled with happiness as they reunite in the "Shelter of Love" donated by the Association.
Mrs. Tran Thi Cuc's family is in difficult circumstances, with five people living together in a three-story house measuring only 11 square meters. The foundation is sinking and tilting towards the neighboring house, causing water to seep in from the floor during rain, the roof is leaking and damaged, and the walls are damp, moldy, and peeling. Due to financial difficulties, for many years the family has been unable to renovate the house.

Ms. Nguyen Tuyet Trinh, Vice Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee and Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Ba Dinh Ward, said that after reviewing and understanding the needs of the family requiring assistance, the Union proposed to the ward leaders to support Ms. Cuc's family in repairing and renovating their house with a total amount of 50 million VND. The completion of this "House of Love" demonstrates the deep concern of the ward's political system for Ms. Tran Thi Cuc, and is also a great source of encouragement for her to continue overcoming difficulties and striving for a better life.
Similarly, in Bo De ward, the Women's Union of Bo De ward organized the handover of a "House of Love" to the family of Ms. Pham Thi Bich Thuy, a member of the Women's Union branch of Residential Group No. 38, Bo De cluster, Bo De ward, Hanoi .
Previously, Ms. Pham Thi Bich Thuy's family lived in a cramped, dilapidated single-story house. Ms. Thuy herself had poor health and unstable employment. Construction of a new home for her family officially began in October 2025. After three months, the spacious new house was completed and handed over to Ms. Thuy's family. The house has a total construction area of 50 square meters, with a heat-resistant corrugated iron roof; the outbuildings were newly built and fully enclosed…
Sharing her thoughts with the family of Ms. Pham Thi Bich Thuy on the day of the handover of the new home, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Bo De Ward, Nguyen Thi Kim Dinh, acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit and responsibility of the Women's Association of the ward towards the difficult circumstances, and also mobilized philanthropists and residents of the neighborhood to join hands to help Ms. Thuy's family have a decent home.

In addition to organizing clean-up campaigns and general house cleaning, the Women's Union also visited and presented gifts to the family of Ms. Le Thi Tieu, a female member facing hardship.
In a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, the Women's Union of Phu Xuyen commune, in coordination with the Women's Association of the Commune Police, organized a program to present funding for the "Godmother" program in 2026 to Le Kieu Trang, a 4th-grade student at Nam Phong Primary School. The Women's Association of the Phu Xuyen Commune Police officially became her godmother and provided her with 6 million VND in financial support for 2026.
Meanwhile, in Van Dinh commune, the "Car Wash for Fundraising - Spreading Love" program, organized by the Van Dinh Women's Union in coordination with the Youth Union during the Lunar New Year of the Horse, received enthusiastic support from numerous officials, union members, and local people. As a result, all the money raised from the program was used by the Women's Union to provide gifts and support to dozens of disadvantaged children in the area.

According to a report by the Hanoi Women's Union, to date, the Union at all levels has donated thousands of gifts to disadvantaged women and children. Specifically, at the city level, the Hanoi Women's Union has donated 1,490 gifts worth over 936 million VND to disadvantaged women, women with disabilities, and other policy beneficiaries in the city.
