Practical effectiveness
In Thanh Khe ward, the Women's Union recently launched the "Digital Branch - Digital Family" model, marking a turning point in the renewal of the content and methods of the union's activities.
According to Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Nhung, President of the Women's Union of Thanh Khe Ward, digital transformation is not a distant dream but begins with concrete, practical actions within each family. This could include using smartphones safely, searching for and submitting applications online, making cashless payments, or developing skills to identify and avoid harmful and toxic information online.
The model was piloted in two branches, Trung Binh A3 and Tan An B4, with four pioneering families participating. Each family not only implemented the model but also played a "spreading nucleus," supporting those around them, especially the elderly and children, to access technology safely and effectively.
Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy, Head of the Trung Binh A3 Branch, said that implementing the "Digital Branch" model helps to make propaganda work more professional and enhances the organization's standing. At the same time, the model supports members in applying digital skills to association activities and daily life, from familiar Zalo groups to practical online operations.
This model is being implemented not only in Thanh Khe ward but also in many other localities. In Hoa Tien commune, the Women's Union is implementing the "Digital Branch - Digital Family" model, with the participation of representatives from 22 branches and more than 150 female officials and members.
The model aims to build "Strong Digital Branches - Safe Digital Families - Convenient Digital Lives," thereby raising digital awareness and skills for women at the grassroots level.
According to Ms. Le Thu Sa, President of the Women's Union of Hoa Tien commune, the implementation of this model aims to concretize the policies and resolutions on digital transformation, contributing to building a digital government, digital economy , digital society, and digital citizens.
The branches have signed commitments to implement the program with high determination, with 10 households representing 100 households in the Le Son Bac village women's branch participating in the pilot program, creating a foundation for expansion in the future.
Replicating the model
Implementing the "Digital Branch - Digital Association" model, the Hoa Cuong Ward Women's Union selected Women's Branch 09-TS as the pioneering unit, initiating the process of replicating the model throughout the area. Along with this, 160 branches signed a competition agreement, with each unit building at least one core "Digital Family," creating a widespread impact in the community.

Notably, alongside the implementation of the model, the various levels of the association also organized numerous training courses to enhance the digital skills of officials and members.
The training content focuses on skills in using technology applications, managing members on digital platforms, accessing online public services, and ensuring information security in cyberspace. Through this, it helps women not only know how to use these tools but also use them correctly, safely, and effectively.
Ms. Dinh Thi Que, President of the Women's Union of Hoa Cuong Ward, believes that digital transformation begins with a change in the mindset and actions of each female member.
When individuals proactively embrace technology and apply it to their lives and work, digital transformation will no longer be a distant concept but will become an essential part of daily life.
The "Digital Branch - Digital Family" model is gradually proving effective, opening up opportunities for women to develop economically, pursue education, and improve their quality of life, contributing to building a sustainable digital community in the city.
