Working together to enrich our homeland.
Recognizing the delicious flavor of her hometown's sticky rice flakes, which were comparable to those from other regions but lacked promotion, Ms. Ban Thi Ngon from Gia Ha village boldly learned and invested in production to turn traditional sticky rice flakes into a distinctive local product.

Starting from a small-scale family business, she boldly invested in building a production facility, both increasing productivity and preserving traditional craftsmanship. Her family's Viet Dan branded rice flakes are popular in the market, selling out as soon as they're produced, creating jobs for many women in the village.

From cultivating corn and cassava on hillside fields with low economic efficiency, in recent years, Ms. Hoang Thi Dong of Tri Ngoai village has boldly switched to growing V2 oranges. To date, more than 2 hectares of orange trees are yielding harvests, bringing her family a stable income of over 120 million VND each year. Ms. Dong also regularly shares her experience in planting and caring for orange trees with women's association members to learn from and replicate the model.
These are just two of many effective economic models run by women in Phuc Khanh commune. Not only are they diligent in production, but many women have boldly innovated their thinking and creativity in transforming the structure of crops and livestock. Economic models run by women, such as growing V2 oranges, raising free-range chickens, black pigs, honeybees, rabbits, and sturgeon, have brought stable income, helping hundreds of families escape poverty and achieve legitimate wealth. The increasing number of economic models run by women demonstrates their innovative thinking and efforts to overcome difficulties.

Alongside economic development, women in the commune have also pioneered environmental protection, contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful rural area. Projects such as flower gates, flower fences, and flower-lined roads stretching over 5 km have transformed the appearance of villages and hamlets. The rural road lighting system and regular general cleaning activities in 100% of the women's associations not only create a more pleasant living space but also raise people's awareness of environmental protection.
Spreading the "From Livelihood to Social Security" model.
One of the standout activities is the program of providing chicken breeds and cinnamon seedlings to poor women, single mothers, and households in difficult circumstances. These gifts are not simply about providing livestock and crops; they open up new livelihood opportunities, helping members generate their own income and gradually improve their family's well-being.

In addition, the Association organizes training courses on livestock farming techniques, provides guidance on planting and caring for cinnamon trees, and closely monitors the implementation process to reduce risks and ensure efficiency. As a result, many members have established small but stable economic models, contributing to improving income right in their local area.
The "From Livelihood to Welfare" model is also linked by the Association to the "Five No's, Three Cleanliness" family movement, creating a synchronized transformation from economic development to building a civilized, safe, and clean living environment. Through this, women are not only supported in their livelihoods but also accompanied on their journey to improve their quality of life.

In the socio-cultural field, women in Phuc Khanh continue to affirm their pivotal role. Performing arts groups and volleyball teams are regularly maintained in all branches, creating a vibrant atmosphere of competition and community cohesion. These activities not only improve the spiritual life and health of members but also contribute to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural identity of the Tay, Nung, Dao, and Mong ethnic groups. As a result, the new rural landscape in Phuc Khanh is not only well-developed in terms of infrastructure but also rich in cultural life and imbued with strong ethnic identity.
The achievements have affirmed that women in Phuc Khanh commune are an important factor in the cause of building new rural areas. Not only are they a key workforce, but they also take the lead in preserving the environment, building happy families, and contributing to enriching the cultural and spiritual life in the residential areas.

Ms. Vu Thi Trang Nhung, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Phuc Khanh Commune, stated: In the coming time, the Women's Union of Phuc Khanh Commune will continue to implement comprehensive key solutions such as supporting members in improving their knowledge of production, entrepreneurship, and the application of science and technology. It will continue to mobilize social resources and replicate models suitable to the conditions of the highlands, aiming for every member to have the opportunity to improve their lives in conjunction with the "Family with 5 No's and 3 Cleanliness Standards" movement. At the same time, the union will actively propose initiatives and models suitable to the practical situation, contributing to the completion of new rural development criteria.
With determination and concrete actions, the women of Phuc Khanh are joining hands to build a prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland, becoming a livable and culturally rich region.
