This is also the third consecutive year that Phu Quoc Island has been ranked among the most wonderful islands in the world.

According to the Kien Giang Department of Tourism, 2024 marks an important turning point when Phu Quoc is continuously evaluated and honored by the world's leading prestigious tourism organizations from a hidden gem of Southeast Asia to a world-worth-visiting destination.

Previously, in July, another famous American magazine, Travel + Leisure, also voted Phu Quoc as the second most beautiful island in the world. DestinAsian (Indonesia) travel magazine ranked Phu Quoc in the top 10 most wonderful islands in Asia.

In the first 9 months of 2024, Phu Quoc welcomed nearly 724,000 international tourists, an increase of over 56% over the same period in 2023, exceeding the 2024 plan by 8.6%. Total revenue from tourism activities reached over 16 trillion VND, an increase of 91.9% over the same period in 2023, reaching 96.4% of the 2024 plan.

Phu Quoc currently welcomes visitors from more than 150 countries and territories, with many direct flights from Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan (China)...
