Human resources are the golden key to development
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu affirmed: The First Provincial Party Congress has identified one of the three breakthroughs as focusing on developing high-quality human resources, pioneering in the application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. The workshop was organized with the goal of finding practical, breakthrough and feasible solutions for Phu Tho to enter the new era of the knowledge economy and industry 4.0; an opportunity to connect labor supply and demand; propose mechanisms and policies to attract and retain talent, build a workforce with knowledge, skills and labor discipline.

Next, the delegates presented their papers, focusing on discussing many important contents such as: Promoting digital transformation in building a connection network between the Employment Service Center - employees - recruiting enterprises; the effectiveness of the connection model between schools - enterprises in supplying human resources; developing high-tech human resources in enterprises; human resource needs in the electronics industry in the era of artificial intelligence; limitations and difficulties in coordinating training and retraining of workers between enterprises and vocational training institutions; innovation in vocational training in the digital age; human resources in the AI era - challenges and opportunities for enterprises; solutions to improve the efficiency of recruitment and training of workers; the need for high-quality labor in the mechanical engineering and automation industry; solutions to increase competitiveness in recruiting workers to meet business needs.

At the workshop, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong and leaders of departments and branches focused on answering opinions and recommendations from businesses on improving the quality of vocational training at vocational training institutions; solutions to address the shortage of labor, especially highly skilled labor for businesses; plans to prioritize human resource training for basic industries; infrastructure investment for new investors; the province's policies for investors; solutions to reduce costs for businesses investing in Phu Tho.

Developing high-quality human resources is a strategic task, requiring the synchronous participation of the entire political system, businesses and people. Phu Tho province is committed to strongly implementing the results of the workshop into specific and practical actions, creating strong changes in training, using and developing human resources - considering this the "golden key" for the province's rapid and sustainable development in the new era - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong emphasized.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, agencies, and units to thoroughly grasp the task of building an open, flexible human resource ecosystem, closely connecting the government - schools - businesses - workers; developing high-quality human resources for key areas that the province is prioritizing to attract investment; linking training with the practical needs of businesses; promoting digital transformation, applying artificial intelligence, exploiting data in labor management, market forecasting and job coordination, especially through the Phu Tho Job Portal.
Assign specific tasks
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong assigned the Department of Home Affairs to advise the province on promulgating policies on human resource development in line with the province's digital transformation orientation and integration trend; continue to complete and soon deploy the Project on human resource development in Phu Tho province. The Department of Education and Training directed the innovation of training programs and contents towards standardization and modernization, focusing on training human resources in key occupations, strengthening the model of training orders and training linkages.
The Department of Finance advises on allocating resources to implement programs and projects on human resource development. The Department of Construction accelerates the progress of social housing projects, welfare works, and support policies to attract and retain workers. Vocational training institutions proactively sign training cooperation agreements with enterprises, apply the model of enterprises accompanying schools, innovate teaching methods, promote practice and internship at enterprises; promote vocational training according to the province's investment attraction orientation.


Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong also requested enterprises in the province to actively and proactively maintain stability and develop production; ensure the maintenance of operations and sustainable job creation; pay attention to preferential policies and regimes, improve the lives of workers; develop recruitment plans, closely coordinate with relevant units to ensure labor supply. At the same time, continue to reflect on difficulties and obstacles, propose solutions to strengthen the connection between training and labor use; share experiences in attracting, retaining and using labor so that the government can accompany and create the best conditions to help enterprises develop sustainably.



Within the framework of the Workshop, the signing ceremony of the labor supply cooperation agreement between the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Phu Tho province and vocational training institutions and enterprises took place.
