The Student Journey to the Fatherland's Islands 2023 delegation, organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association in coordination with the Vietnam Navy, has just departed from Cat Lai port ( Ho Chi Minh City) to the islands of Truong Sa island district and DK1 platform.
The trip was attended by more than 200 delegates, including student union officials from provinces and cities, excellent students, and outstanding young entrepreneurs, artists, and doctors from across the country. Phu Yen had two delegates attending, Mr. Vo Duy Kha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Student Association, and Ta Thi Hoai Thu, a third-year student from the Faculty of Architecture, Central University of Construction.
According to the plan, the Student Journey with the Fatherland's seas and islands in 2023 will take place with many rich activities such as: organizing talks on the situation of the seas and islands, reviewing the tradition of the history of protecting national sovereignty ; introducing and explaining student products associated with the development of the marine economy, presenting scientific and technological products of students on the islands; cultural and sports exchanges, giving gifts to soldiers and people on the islands; exhibition of Students with the Fatherland's seas and islands...
This is a practical activity to welcome the congresses of student associations at all levels, towards the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Student Association, term 2023-2028; responding to the Vietnam Sea and Islands Week (from June 1-8). This is a practical activity of students nationwide in protecting the sovereignty and building Vietnam's seas and islands, thereby expressing gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of the previous generation who fell for the peace, independence and freedom of the country.
