
According to Chairman of An Phong Ward People's Committee Lam Van Dat, recently, the ward has mobilized the entire political system to participate, review all site clearance records, re-establish plans in accordance with legal regulations; at the same time, establish working groups to strengthen propaganda, mobilization, dialogue, and clarify compensation and resettlement policies for people.
With synchronous and effective solutions, by December 5, 2025, 10,726.2 m2 of the remaining 3.44 ha of the stuck area had been cleared by An Phong ward and handed over to Tham Viet Investment Joint Stock Company to implement the construction of the industrial park's axis road, creating a premise to continue to completely handle the remaining area of the project.
The An Duong Industrial Park Construction Investment Project has a total planned area of 196 hectares in 3 communes: Hong Phong, Bac Son, An Hoa (old), now An Phong ward.
The project has been implementing land acquisition and site clearance since 2009, and has allocated land to the investor with an area of 192.7 hectares. The remaining area of 3.44 hectares, in April 2023, the investor continued to request site clearance to complete the project.

Previously, at the meeting with An Phong ward on November 10, 2025, comrade Le Trung Kien, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the ward to review and complete the site clearance plan and hand over the land to the investor before December 15, 2025 to construct the main road in the industrial park.
For the remaining area, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the ward to continue mobilizing the participation of the entire political system, campaigning and propagating to complete site clearance and hand over the entire area to investors in 2025.
