Ba Ngòi Ward organizes the program "Sharing Tet - Connecting Spring"

On February 8th, the Ward Youth Union, the Veterans Association, and the Women's Union of Ba Ngòi Ward organized the program "Sharing Tet - Connecting Spring," providing support for the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026 for poor households, households with difficult circumstances, and ethnic minority people in the area.

The program included many meaningful activities such as: a competition for wrapping banh chung and banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), decorating apricot and peach blossom trees, and folk games. The participating teams wrapped 160 banh tet and 90 pairs of banh chung. These cakes were donated to disadvantaged households.

The teams are preparing to cook banh chung and banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes).

It is known that on February 9th, the Organizing Committee will present 96 gifts to disadvantaged households and 96 gifts, including books and school supplies, to poor students, each worth 250,000 VND. At the same time, a "Zero-Cost Booth" will be set up, giving away 150 shopping vouchers, each worth 300,000 VND, to disadvantaged households to purchase essential items for the Lunar New Year (Tet) in 2026.

The judging panel scored the entries in the competition for wrapping banh chung and banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes).
