Cau Giay Ward: Social feedback on the draft socio-economic report for 2026

On December 2, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Cau Giay Ward organized a conference to provide social feedback on the Draft Report on socio-economic development results in 2025 and socio-economic development tasks in 2026 of the ward.

The conference recorded 10 comments and feedback on the Draft Report of the Ward People's Committee.

Comments say that 2025 is a year of many important events, and is also the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 1st Ward Party Congress after the merger. In the context of the ward having to manage a large area, a large population, and rapid urbanization, under the strong direction of the Party Committee and the management of the Ward People's Committee, in 2025, the ward continues to develop and achieve many positive results.

Urban management, construction order, and environmental sanitation have seen significant changes, and some long-standing problems have been resolved. Social security and care for people with meritorious services and disadvantaged households have been implemented fully and promptly.

In particular, administrative reform and digital transformation application have been promoted with a high rate of timely settlement of records. National defense and security have been maintained, and the movement of the entire people to protect national security continues to be effective. Cultural, social , educational and health activities continue to receive attention. The movement to build civilized residential groups and cultural families has developed extensively, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people.

However, the management of construction order is still complicated, the situation of waste and environmental sanitation in the streets and residential areas still has some problems. The resolution of people's petitions is sometimes slow, not meeting people's expectations.

Entering 2026, in addition to the task of economic development and ensuring social security, the ward needs to focus on maintaining security and order, preventing and fighting crimes; ensuring fire prevention and fighting safety (especially in apartment buildings, boarding houses, and densely populated areas); improving environmental sanitation, managing domestic waste, public waste... with fundamental and long-term solutions.

Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman of Cau Giay Ward People's Committee Luong Mau Hung emphasized that the social criticism conference is not only a forum for delegates to contribute ideas to perfect the draft report, but also an opportunity for the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations to effectively perform the function of social supervision and criticism, thereby contributing to improving the quality of policy making, ensuring that policies and solutions truly originate from the aspirations and legitimate interests of the people. The opinions contributed at the conference will be received by the Ward People's Committee to perfect the draft report before submitting it to the Ward People's Council for approval, thereby contributing to building a clean and strong government that serves the people better and better.
