| Ea Kao ward officials and leaders loaded necessities onto trucks to transport to Tuy An Bac and Tuy An Dong communes to support people. |
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province and implementing the direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Kao ward actively mobilized agencies, units, businesses and a large number of people in the area to participate in supporting people in flood-affected areas.
With the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other", as of the afternoon of November 28, the ward had received more than 1.1 billion VND in cash and necessities worth about 740 million VND, along with many clothes, blankets and essential items.
From this support source, the ward has been transferring funds and necessities to heavily damaged areas including Xuan Dai ward and the communes of Xuan Tho, Tuy An Dong, Tuy An Bac, and Phu Hoa 2. In the coming time, the ward will continue to transfer money and goods to the sister unit of Hoa Thinh commune and some other localities in the province to promptly help people overcome difficulties after the flood.
Ms. H' Huong Bkrong, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Kao Ward, affirmed that every contribution, no matter how big or small, is a valuable gesture, contributing to demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and sharing, helping people in flood-affected areas to soon stabilize their lives.
