Hai Ba Trung Ward: Negotiate and agree on the structure, composition, and number of candidates for the Ward People's Council.

HNP - On the afternoon of December 2, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Ba Trung Ward held the first consultation conference to agree on the structure, composition and number of people recommended to run for the Ward People's Council, term 2026 - 2031.

The Conference was chaired by comrades: Nguyen Hien Phuong, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Ba Trung Ward; Nguyen Thanh Tu, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward. Attending the Conference were comrade Chu Hong Minh, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee for the election of deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels of the ward, Chairman of the Ward Election Committee and representatives of leaders of relevant units.

At the Conference, Vice Chairwoman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, representing the Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council, presented the expected number, structure, composition and allocation of the number of people of agencies, organizations, units and residential groups recommended to run for the Ward People's Council, term 2026 - 2031.

Specifically, currently, the Hai Ba Trung Ward People's Council delegates for the 2021-2026 term have 16 people. According to the regulations of the Central Government and Hanoi City, the Hai Ba Trung Ward People's Council delegates for the 2026-2031 term include 26 people, of which the number of recommended delegates is 44 people; the number of recommended delegates at the consultation steps is 52 people.

Regarding the expected structure, composition and number distribution, it is as follows: Party agencies 7 people; People's Council 6 people; People's Committee 12 people; public service units 5 people; Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations 13 people; beliefs and religions 1 person; armed forces 6 people; residential groups 2 people. Voters of Hai Ba Trung ward will go to vote at 8 constituencies in the ward.

Delegates speaking at the Conference

With 100% of the delegates present in agreement, the conference agreed on the number of ward People's Council delegates elected according to regulations for the 2026-2031 term as 26 delegates. Regarding the number of candidates recommended for election, the delegates agreed on 52 people.

In order for the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term to take place successfully, Hai Ba Trung ward has established an Election Steering Committee and an Election Committee. At the same time, it will deploy the election work and develop a plan to inspect and supervise the implementation of election laws according to regulations. At the same time, it will survey the locations and include them in the list of locations to be renovated and repaired to prepare the necessary conditions to serve the election work in the ward.
