

Reporting on the results of Tet holiday care for union members and workers, Tran Thu Hien, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Mai Ward and Chairman of the Ward's Trade Union, said that trade unions at all levels in the area have proactively coordinated with the government and businesses to implement many comprehensive solutions to care for union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances.


To date, 100% of units and businesses in the ward have developed plans to care for their employees during Tet (Lunar New Year), with forms such as Tet bonuses, 13th-month salary bonuses, and Tet gifts. The minimum bonus is 1 million VND; some businesses offer bonuses ranging from 30 to 80 million VND. The total financial support from businesses for 613 union members and workers in difficult circumstances has reached over 600 million VND.
In addition, the ward's Trade Union has actively carried out the work of advising and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; assisting 45 cases related to signing labor contracts, participating in social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, resolving wage issues, overtime issues, and other issues arising in labor relations.

Besides providing material support to union members and workers, the Trade Union and Youth Union of Hoang Mai ward actively implement activities to improve the spiritual lives of workers and employees through coordinated cultural and artistic events and sports competitions. In particular, at the "Tet Reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program in 2026, the Hoang Mai ward Trade Union organized folk games recreating the lively atmosphere of Tet celebrations of the past, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere to welcome the new year.

Speaking at the program, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoang Mai Ward, Nguyen Xuan Linh, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and proactiveness of the Fatherland Front Committee, the Trade Union, and other mass organizations in the ward in caring for workers and people during Tet. The "Tet Reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program not only provides material support but also serves as a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping workers feel secure in their work and committed to the locality. He hoped that businesses and units would continue to cooperate with the ward in caring for the lives of workers; and that each union member and worker would continue to strive, actively participate in emulation movements, and contribute to building Hoang Mai Ward into an increasingly civilized, prosperous, and compassionate place.


At the event, the organizing committee presented many meaningful Tet gifts to union members, workers, and disadvantaged youth in the ward. Specifically, the Hanoi City Federation of Labor Unions awarded 540 gifts to union members and workers, including 370 cash gifts worth 1 million VND each, along with other forms of support such as vouchers for direct purchases, online purchases, and Tet gifts, with a total support value exceeding 500 million VND.

The Trade Union and Youth Union of Hoang Mai ward jointly presented gifts to 50 union members and 50 disadvantaged youth union members; at the same time, they received and distributed support from businesses and philanthropists with a total budget of hundreds of millions of VND, contributing to a joyful and warm Lunar New Year celebration in 2026.
