Hong Bang Ward speeds up key projects, improves urban management efficiency

Standing Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee Do Manh Hien requested the Standing Committee of Hong Bang Ward Party Committee to direct the acceleration of key projects in the area, improving the effectiveness of urban management.

On the afternoon of November 14, comrade Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, worked with the Standing Committee of the Hong Bang Ward Party Committee on the progress of implementing a number of investment projects in the area; the socio -economic situation in the first 10 months of 2025 and the implementation of the tasks of the two-level local government.

After inspecting the actual progress of some investment projects in the area and listening to the opinions of the delegates, Mr. Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by Hong Bang ward in the new context, especially the rapid stabilization of the organization, effective operation of the two-level local government, promoting administrative reform, serving the people, maintaining internal solidarity, and promoting the capacity of the staff. The results of administrative procedure settlement and socio-economic development indicators show the great efforts and determination of the ward Party Committee and government.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Party Committee of Hong Bang Ward continue to focus on effectively implementing the programs and resolutions of the Central and the City. Prepare well for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term. Strengthen land management and construction order; research and review public parking planning, prevent encroachment on roads, sidewalks, and flower gardens, causing loss of aesthetics and traffic safety and order.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee noted that when working with people, cadres and soldiers need to pay attention to behavioral culture, enthusiasm, and responsibility in solving work and the people's legitimate requests.

Regarding socio-economic development, the total state budget revenue in the ward by October 2025 reached 4,655 million VND, accumulated in 10 months reached 73,992 million VND, equal to 100% of the assigned plan, exceeding 30% over the same period. The ward has completed the site clearance for the Thuong Ly Bridge Flower Garden Investment Project, the Urban Redevelopment Project in the old Lac Long bus station area and handed over to the Hong Bang Area Project Management Board to implement the project according to regulations.

Regarding the operation of the two-level local government, as of November 11, 2025, the rate of online application submission reached 99.46%, exceeding the city's assigned target by 39.46% (26,691/26,836 applications).
