Phuong My Chi confidently performs The Universe Has You
The new semi-final episode 2 of Sing! Asia 2025 will be shown simultaneously with the international side on FPT Play on the evening of July 18. In this round, 8 contestants will compete 1:1 to select 4 people for the final round.
Phuong My Chi's opponent in this episode is Chinese contestant Ai Tan Giac La Mi. She performed the song "Unforgettable ".

Rapper Phao also wrote a new rap part for Phuong My Chi to be more free-spirited and individual on stage, evoking the image of Tam in modern times.
With Universe Has You , Phuong My Chi continues to show off her vocal strengths and ends the song with an impressive high note.
Judge Truong Luong Dinh had not voted for Phuong My Chi's performance three times in previous rounds, causing Vietnamese audiences to believe that she treated the contestant from Vietnam "unfairly".
However, after watching Phuong My Chi's performance in the second semi-final, Truong Luong Dinh cast her precious vote for her. The Chinese diva said she really liked Phuong My Chi's performance.
"She's like a robot cat. I always want to know from which angle she'll pull out an object. Her performance today was excellent, from her style to her eyes and demeanor," said Truong Luong Dinh.

The online judges also said that in the performance "The Universe Has You" , Phuong My Chi performed very well, inspiring and creating an atmosphere for everyone.
This is a performance with a fairly fast rhythm and many new elements, but Phuong My Chi still maintains the rhythm and style, has a good voice, and performs confidently.
Kha Lau once collaborated with Phuong My Chi in the mashup Tuy am - Luc hai vi vuong in the first semi-final.
Before that, she went to Vietnam to work with Phuong My Chi to have the best performance.
Phuong My Chi took Kha Lau to explore Vietnamese culture and the two considered each other good friends.

In the final result, Phuong My Chi beat Ai Tan Giac La Mi with a score of 17/7 (total score from three live judges and 21 online), winning a ticket to the final round of Sing! Asia .
