(DTO) On the afternoon of December 9, My Phuoc Tay ward held a conference to meet with businesses and business households to promote production and business in 2026.

Currently, in the ward there are nearly 200 enterprises; 3 cooperatives; more than 3,300 production and business establishments; 8 banks; 1 supermarket... Enterprises in the area continue to develop production and business in a modern and professional direction, creating stable jobs for thousands of workers, contributing to increasing income and improving people's lives.

Per capita income is currently over 70 million VND per year, showing that people's living standards are increasingly improving, while also reflecting continued growth in purchasing power and domestic market demand.

In 2025, the ward will mobilize investment in over 50 projects with a total investment of more than 894 billion VND to build and upgrade many roads, dredge irrigation canals, prevent salinity, prevent floods, and drain water for agricultural production...

The ward is implementing two investment calling projects that have been approved in principle by the Provincial People's Committee, namely the 42.9-hectare My Phuoc Tay Industrial Cluster Project with a total investment of VND 844 billion and the 0.47-hectare Event, Conference, Restaurant and Hotel Center Project with a total investment of VND 295 billion, excluding land use fees.

In 2026, My Phuoc Tay Ward will continue to implement the My Phuoc Tay Industrial Cluster Investment Project; calling for investment in the Event, Conference, Restaurant and Hotel Center Project in the form of selecting investors to auction the right to use 0.47 hectares of vacant public land; at the same time, the ward will implement procedures to call for investment in the projects: Long Phuoc Multi-purpose Sports Area (1.53 hectares), Cap Ran Mountain Market (0.2 hectares), My Phuoc Tay Ward Residential Area (9.2 hectares), Commercial and Service Area (0.85 hectares), My Hanh Trung Industrial Cluster (50 hectares), My Phuoc Tay 2 Industrial Cluster...

At the same time, My Phuoc Tay ward hopes that investors will research, invest in production and business on roads such as: Provincial Road 868 - new Provincial Road 868 (oriented to become National Highway 30C), District Road 58, District Road 58B, Provincial Road 865 (oriented to become National Highway 30B). At the same time, pay attention to investing in public headquarters and public land currently vacant after the merger with the number of 12 public land plots, 14 public headquarters...

Speaking at the conference, comrade Pham Thanh Ngai emphasized that My Phuoc Tay ward is the first locality to organize a meeting with businesses at the commune and ward levels. While previously investment calling activities were mainly carried out by the provincial and district levels, now the local authorities will be directly responsible.

At the same time, the province has promoted decentralization of management and decision-making authority to the grassroots level; the authority to resolve many issues, from land to planning, has been transferred to the commune and ward levels. Therefore, commune and ward-level units need to proactively improve their thinking and responsibility, no longer maintaining the administrative mindset as before.

Comrade Pham Thanh Ngai shared and sympathized with the common difficulties of businesses and people in the context of the global economic impact. Although it is not possible to immediately answer all specific issues, all opinions and requests will be reviewed by relevant departments and branches in all policies and regimes to provide satisfactory answers, creating favorable conditions to promote production and business.

Comrade Pham Thanh Ngai affirmed that the business community is an important force contributing to the continued development of Dong Thap. In the coming time, the province hopes that businesses will continue to promptly reflect on the advantages and difficulties in the process of operation; at the same time, promote the application of digital transformation to improve production and business efficiency.
