Nghia Do Ward honors outstanding teachers of the 2024-2025 school year

HNP - Towards Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, on November 13, Nghia Do Ward People's Committee held a ceremony to honor typical advanced models and exemplary teachers of the 2024 - 2025 school year.

The 2024-2025 school year is the first year that the Education and Training Department of Nghia Do Ward operates under a two-level government model. With 31 educational institutions, more than 25,000 students and over 2,200 cadres, teachers and employees, the Education Department of the Ward has made persistent and creative efforts and achieved many outstanding achievements.

Schools continue to affirm the quality of comprehensive education. The 9th grade excellent student exam achieved 26 city-level prizes, of which Nghia Tan Secondary School achieved 12 prizes and Le Quy Don Secondary School achieved 11 prizes. The 10th grade entrance exam scores of Nghia Tan Secondary School (8.28 points), Le Quy Don Secondary School (8.07 points) and Pascal Primary - Secondary School (8.96 points) are among the leading groups in the city. Students of the ward also won many medals and awards at national and international competitions such as IKMC, ITMC, TIMO, Robotics, music , sports, etc.

In addition to collective achievements, Nghia Do ward also honored many outstanding teachers with profound contributions such as: Dr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary and High School - was awarded the title "Excellent Citizen of the Capital". Excellent teacher Vu Ngoc Du - Principal of Anh Sao Kindergarten - received the Second Class Labor Medal. Teacher Nguyen Thi Nhu Quynh (Hoa Hong Kindergarten) and Teacher Ha Thi Thanh Binh (Quan Hoa Kindergarten) received the Third Class Labor Medal. Teacher Truong Thi Thu Hien - Principal of Nghia Tan Secondary School - and Teacher Nguyen Thi Dung - teacher of Hoa Hong Kindergarten - received the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit.

Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Nghia Do Ward Nguyen Hong Son highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of the ward's education sector in the first school year of implementing the two-level government model. He emphasized that today's achievements demonstrate the persistent efforts and high sense of responsibility of the staff, teachers and employees; the close coordination between family - school - society; and the close attention of the ward Party Committee and government.
