Ninh Kieu Ward launched a bus trip to support people affected by storms and floods.

(CTO) - This is a meaningful work, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of Ninh Kieu ward residents towards compatriots affected by storms and floods.

On the evening of December 1, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Kieu Ward and the Ninh Kieu Ward Youth Union set off on a trip to support people affected by storms and floods in Dak Lak province.

Police, militia and union members helped carry goods onto trucks and deliver them to people affected by storms and floods.

The truck carried 16 tons of goods including rice, instant noodles, medicine, health care products, clothes, shoes, blankets, children's toys, school supplies and many other essential items. The above goods were mobilized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Youth Union of the ward from the program "Connecting the community - Sharing love" (from November 28 to present). Immediately after implementing the program, many organizations, individuals, union members and youth actively contributed to support people to overcome difficulties caused by storms and floods. This is a meaningful work, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of the people of Ninh Kieu ward towards compatriots affected by storms and floods.

The truck not only carried goods to "support" people in flooded areas, but also showed the solidarity of the people of Ninh Kieu ward.

According to Mr. Le Trung Hieu, Secretary of Ninh Kieu Ward Youth Union, the program "Connecting the community - Sharing love" will continue to be implemented until December 10, 2025. Organizations and individuals who want to contribute to support people in areas affected by storms and floods can contact the Ward Youth Union at 215 Nguyen Trai Street, Ninh Kieu Ward (in the headquarters of the Party Committee - Ninh Kieu Ward People's Committee). The items received include: rice, instant noodles, milk, new clothes, student notebooks and school supplies.
