Phan Thiet ward mobilizes over 5 billion VND to prepare for the 2026 Lunar New Year.

For the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, Phan Thiet ward (Lam Dong province) will implement activities to care for the Lunar New Year celebrations in the area with a total amount of over 5 billion VND from the ward's budget and mobilized funds.

The Party Committee of Phan Thiet ward visited and extended New Year greetings to former secretaries and deputy secretaries of the Phan Thiet City Party Committee (before the merger).

Accordingly, in implementing Resolution No. 92/2025/NQ-HĐND dated December 30, 2025, of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, the Phan Thiet Ward People's Committee presented gifts, visited, and encouraged 1,362 people with meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives in the area, with a total amount exceeding 1.766 billion VND. At the same time, in implementing the President's decision on giving gifts on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse), the Ward People's Committee disbursed money to 825 people with a total amount of 249 million VND.

The Party Committee of Phan Thiet ward visited and extended New Year greetings to former secretaries and deputy secretaries of the Phan Thiet City Party Committee (before the merger).

Using funds from the Gratitude and Remembrance program, the local authorities organized a delegation to visit and present gifts to 343 people who rendered meritorious services to the revolution and are receiving monthly allowances, as well as relatives of martyrs, with a total amount of 171.5 million VND.

The Party Committee of Phan Thiet ward visited and extended New Year greetings to families receiving preferential treatment.

With support from the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the locality presented gifts to 98 poor households and 180 near-poor households, worth 324 million VND.

The delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to the Party Committee of Mui Ne Ward.

In addition, the ward presented gifts to 78 individuals who are worshipping Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, totaling 39 million VND; and donated gifts worth approximately 200 million VND to Party branches, residential groups, Fatherland Front committees, and self-governing people's groups in the area from the local budget.

Leaders of Phan Thiet Ward People's Committee and a delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bach, wife of the hero of the armed forces and martyr Ho Ngoc Lau.

In addition to budget support, the local authorities raised approximately 2.2 billion VND to help people celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year) in the area.
