At the conference, Comrade Duong The Vinh presented the main content of the compensation and support policy according to the 2024 Land Law and current decrees, and also provided information on the land clearance plan. The Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board of the ward reported on the project's overview, legal basis, and land acquisition plan. The project covers a total area of 4.33 hectares, located in residential areas 13, 14, 15, and 16, and was approved in principle by the Prime Minister in 2007. Situated on the southern development axis of Hanoi , it is of significant importance in promoting urbanization, improving the local landscape and environment.
At the conference, 10 residents expressed their agreement and support for the project's implementation. In addition, they requested that the local authorities pay attention to compensation rates to ensure stable livelihoods for the people; allocate land for roads and the development of the carpentry craft village; consider allocating land for younger generations born in 1995-1996; and provide support for crop assessment for households whose land is being expropriated.
Concluding the meeting, Comrade La Quang Thuc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Luong Ward, acknowledged and addressed all the concerns raised by the residents. The People's Committee of the ward assigned the Project Management Board to coordinate with the Department of Economic Infrastructure - Urban Development, relevant cooperatives and residential groups to compile a report and submit it to the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council for consideration and guidance on resolution.
The comrade suggested that the Fatherland Front Committee, mass organizations, and socio-political organizations closely coordinate in the work of disseminating information and mobilizing the people, ensuring that the process of land reclamation, investigation, surveying, measurement, and counting is carried out in accordance with regulations, openly, transparently, and effectively.
The conference contributed to creating initial consensus between the government and the people, laying the foundation for the implementation of the Thanh Ha A, B - Cienco5 New Urban Area project in accordance with legal regulations, promoting infrastructure development and improving the urban landscape of Phu Luong ward.
