Phu Yen Ward trains in applying artificial intelligence (AI) ChatGPT in consulting and solving administrative work

Attending the training course were representatives of the Party Committee, the Ward People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio- political organizations, cadres, civil servants, public employees of departments, offices, units, schools and the Community Digital Technology Team in the ward, with a total of more than 250 participants.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Ho Bao Khoi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen Ward, emphasized: In the era of digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) technology is becoming a powerful support tool to help improve work efficiency, especially in the field of public administration. The application of AI will help cadres, civil servants and public employees improve productivity, save time, and at the same time contribute to building a modern, professional administration, better serving people and businesses.

At the training class, Dr. Nguyen Chi Si - Lecturer of the Central University of Construction directly instructed the basic theory and in-depth practical application, to ensure that students can grasp and immediately apply it to their work after finishing. Regarding Theory: Students were provided with an overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, the concepts and capabilities of ChatGPT, and practical applications of AI in public administration. In particular, the training class emphasized the golden principles when using ChatGPT, including ensuring accuracy, verifying information before issuing and strictly complying with data security regulations, absolutely not entering personal information or sensitive information of agencies and people into the AI system. Regarding In-depth application practice: This is the core part, where students directly practice effective questioning skills (prompt) and applying AI to specific public service situations. Practical contents include: Supporting drafting and synthesizing, digital communication; solving specific professional problems such as: drafting instructions for household registration, building propaganda radio scripts or creating a checklist for licensing documents, helping to optimize the workflow in each department.

Through the training session, trainees have direct access to smart work support tools, practice AI skills in document drafting, report synthesis, work plan development, legal information lookup, etc. Thereby, contributing to improving the capacity to apply digital technology in administrative activities, promoting digital transformation at the grassroots level and spreading the spirit of innovation among local officials, civil servants and public employees.
