Speaking at the program, Comrade Tran Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuong Mai Ward, said: In recent times, along with the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, the Party Committee of Tuong Mai Ward has always identified social welfare work as a key and continuous task, always paying attention to leadership and guidance and creating conditions for activities to care for the lives of the people, especially near-poor households, households with difficult circumstances, low-income workers and vulnerable groups in the area.

In 2025, the Tuong Mai Ward Fund for the Poor raised over 900 million VND. During the year, it organized numerous support distributions to disadvantaged families during the Month for the Poor, the National Unity Day, and provided emergency assistance to households in difficult circumstances.
The "Spring of Compassion - Tet of Sharing" program for the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026 is one of the key activities, through which the Fund for the Poor is effectively utilized, promoting social mobilization and encouraging the joint efforts of agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing and community responsibility in the ward.

Acknowledging and expressing sincere gratitude to political and social organizations, neighborhood groups, agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists who have actively accompanied and contributed resources to care for disadvantaged people in the area, the Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuong Mai Ward, Tran Thu Thuy, affirmed: The Party Committee, government, and the Fatherland Front Committee of Tuong Mai Ward will continue to innovate the content and methods of social welfare activities, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people, and better care for near-poor households and households with difficult circumstances, so that no one is left behind.
