In her opening remarks at the festival, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Hung Ward, Quan Thi Van Anh, stated: The first Vinh Hung Ward High School Student Musical Instrument Talent Festival, for the 2025-2026 school year, aims to realize the goal of comprehensive education , focusing on developing aesthetic abilities and artistic expression skills for high school students; gradually encouraging each student to become familiar with and proficient in using at least one musical instrument suitable to their interests and age.

"The festival is not just about discovering talent, but also contributes to comprehensive education and the development of aesthetic abilities for students. Through this, it encourages the preservation and promotion of traditional music values while simultaneously absorbing the essence of modern music suitable for their age," emphasized Comrade Quan Thi Van Anh.
Eight piano solo performances participated in the festival, representing two categories: the Primary School category, comprising contestants from four schools: Linh Nam, Thanh Tri, Vinh Hung, and Vinh Tuy; and the Secondary School category, also comprising contestants from four schools: Linh Nam, Thanh Tri, Vinh Hung, and Vinh Tuy.

As a result, in the Primary School category: Tran Sy Dat - 5A7, Vinh Tuy Primary School won first prize; second prize: Nguyen Thuy Duong - 4A4, Thanh Tri Primary School; and two third prizes, including: Pham Nhat Nam - 4A3, Linh Nam Primary School and Tran Thanh Tam - 4A4, Vinh Hung Primary School.
In the junior high school category, Tran Thien Khang - 8A13, Vinh Hung Junior High School won first prize; second prize went to Nguyen Huy Bach - 6H, Vinh Tuy Junior High School; and third prize went to Tran Bao Minh - 9A10, Linh Nam Junior High School and Hoang Thuy Duong - 6A3, Thanh Tri Junior High School.
The participants in the festival are students currently attending primary and secondary schools (public and private) in Vinh Hung ward.
In terms of format, contestants will compete in the Piano Solo category. To enhance the appeal, the performance may use a pre-recorded backing track or include a supporting band.
Previously, schools organized festivals and selected one outstanding performance to participate in the ward-level competition. At the ward-level competition, the organizing committee will select one outstanding performance to represent Vinh Hung ward at the City-level Festival (expected to take place before December 20, 2025).
Vinh Hung Ward requests that all units proactively promote and encourage students to participate voluntarily, without coercion, creating favorable conditions in terms of time and facilities for students to practice and compete; without affecting the teaching and learning activities of the school.
The performances must be appropriate for high school students; ensuring educational value, aesthetic appeal, and healthy cultural orientation. Performances with offensive content or those unsuitable for the educational environment are not permitted.
