Speaking at the meeting, Party Secretary and Chairman of Xuan Dinh Ward People's Council Nguyen Tien Thanh emphasized that in recent times, with the focus and determination of the entire political system, Xuan Dinh Ward has achieved many important results in all aspects. In particular, the economy and society continue to maintain stability, the trade and service sectors have seen good growth. Budget revenue reached 120% of the estimate and up to now has exceeded, reaching 129% of the plan assigned by the City. Construction order is effectively controlled when 100% of licensed works are inspected. Land management, especially the 90-day and night plan to clean land data, reached over 98% - a great effort of the entire system. Site clearance work for key projects is implemented to ensure progress and process. The movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has developed strongly, the rate of cultural families has reached 97%, cultural residential groups have reached 95%, exceeding the target assigned by the City. Social security work is guaranteed.
The regular meeting at the end of 2025 is of special importance, deciding the direction of targets, tasks, and solutions for socio -economic development of the ward in 2026 and the entire period of 2026-2030 within the framework of the new government model.

According to the program, the People's Council focused on reviewing and approving the main contents such as reviewing and approving regular reports and specialized reports of the People's Council, People's Committee, and the Ward Fatherland Front Committee. At the same time, the People's Council reviewed and approved the Submissions and draft regular resolutions and specialized resolutions on the 2026 Socio-Economic Development Plan; Budget estimates and budget allocation plan for 2026; Public investment plan for 2026 and the 5-year medium term (2026-2030) and the 5-year land use plan (2026-2030); assigning the 2026 staffing quota for the establishment of the People's Council's specialized supervision team in 2026.
The session also devoted time to question and answer activities, focusing on issues of greatest concern to voters and the people, especially difficult issues arising in the context of a two-level government model.
At the meeting, the Ward People's Council focused on reviewing, studying, discussing, and contributing many profound opinions on the 2026 Socio-Economic Development Plan; budget estimates and budget allocation plan for 2026. Public investment plan for 2026 and the 5-year medium-term (2026-2030) and the 5-year Land Use Plan (2026-2030); assigning staffing and contract targets for 2026, the establishment of the Ward People's Council's Thematic Supervision Team in 2026 and a number of other important contents...
The Ward People's Council also considered and commented on the specialized reports of the People's Committee; the work of participating in government building of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and a number of contents under the authority of the Ward People's Council. In particular, the People's Council voted to pass the Resolution on the Socio-Economic Development Plan for 2026 with 15 targets, 3 breakthroughs and 10 groups of tasks and solutions to achieve the important goal of focusing on promoting economic development, ensuring social security, improving people's lives, ensuring national defense, local military and security, social order and safety. The Ward People's Council also passed 10 reports and 9 Resolutions (including 2 regular Resolutions and 7 important specialized Resolutions). The People's Council requested the People's Committee, departments, branches and units, according to their assigned functions, tasks and powers, to proactively organize and implement, ensuring that the Resolutions come into life and achieve practical results.
