PTSC Marine sponsors construction of rural traffic bridges in the Mekong Delta

Considered a key area for agricultural development and ensuring national food security, in recent years, the Mekong Delta has received active investment from the state in rural transport infrastructure. However, with the terrain characteristics of dense canals, it causes great difficulties in connecting and traveling for people, especially in remote areas, significantly affecting people's lives and economic development in the locality. Faced with this situation, Petroleum Services Vessel Company (PTSC Marine) has promoted the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and social responsibility, actively coordinated with individuals and organizations outside to mobilize and sponsor funding for bridge construction in the Southwest region. On November 29, 2025, PTSC Marine coordinated with local authorities to organize the inauguration ceremony of Phu Loc bridge in Ta Lot A hamlet, Phu Loc commune, Can Tho city.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Trinh Huu Duong - Deputy Director in charge of the Company said, "Social security activities are a good tradition of PTSC Corporation in general and the Ship Company in particular. By sponsoring the construction of the bridge in Can Tho, we have realized our commitments on corporate responsibility to the community and society. This is a small gift from the Company's employees to the people of Phu Loc commune. Hopefully, the new bridge will help people move more conveniently, the road to school for children will be closer and safer." On this occasion, the Petroleum Service Ship Company also sponsored 05 sets of computers and printers for local authorities and many gifts for families in difficult circumstances, poor students with good academic achievements in the area.

Phu Loc Bridge was started on September 7, 2025 on the occasion of the 15th Congress of Can Tho City Party Committee, term 2025-2030; Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, term 2025-2030. The project has many meanings, contributing to improving infrastructure, serving travel, improving people's lives as well as developing the local socio-economy. Phu Loc Bridge was newly built with a length of 31m, a width of 3.5m, a load capacity of 3 tons, with a total cost of 350 million VND. Of which, PTSC Marine sponsored 250 million VND and the local counterpart fund was 100 million VND.
