In recent times, the Party Committee and Command of the 34th Corps have focused on leading, directing, and implementing many positive, synchronous, and effective contents and measures to improve the quality of infantry combat technical training in training new soldiers.
The Corps also issued a directive and decided to establish a Steering Committee on building model units in 2025 and selected the 10th Division, 273rd Tank Brigade as a model for infantry combat training. The affiliated units of the Corps also selected 1 to 2 model units at their level to organize experience sharing.
The units selected to build the points have thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the resolutions, orders, plans and instructions of the Party Committee and the Corps Command on building infantry combat technique training points for new soldiers; carefully and closely developed resolutions and plans at their level and implemented them effectively.
The work of preparing training and documents for building model units has been effectively implemented by Party committees and commanders at all levels, with high breakthroughs, in accordance with the unit's task requirements, and ensuring quality.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Tran Cong Duc - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the 34th Corps requested Party committees and commanders of agencies and units to continue to uphold their responsibilities, promptly draw lessons, focus on leadership, direction and organization to overcome the limitations and shortcomings that have been pointed out.
At the same time, it is required that units in the Corps continue to resolutely and synchronously deploy measures to improve the quality of training new soldiers in general and infantry combat techniques training in the coming time and the following years; combine training with building a regular, strong, comprehensive "exemplary, typical" unit; create a strong change, contributing to improving the overall quality, level, training capacity, and combat readiness of the Corps.
At the conference, the 34th Corps honored 17 units with outstanding achievements in building model units for infantry combat technical training in 2025.
