Accordingly, Military Region 5 will establish working teams to go to localities damaged by storms and floods; coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to survey each household, make a list of houses to repair and build new ones.
The goal is to ensure that all people whose houses collapsed or were severely damaged in storms and floods can soon have stable housing before the 2026 Lunar New Year.
Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai requested units to uphold their sense of responsibility, proactively mobilize forces and means, and organize to carry out tasks with the highest determination. Supporting people to rebuild their houses is not only an urgent task after natural disasters, but also demonstrates the affection and responsibility of officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 5 towards the people.
Agencies and units must carefully review the needs of each family, proactively advise on appropriate support plans; organize construction forces scientifically and closely; absolutely do not let any people whose houses have collapsed have to celebrate Tet in deprived conditions.
Previously, the Da Nang City Military Command mobilized 60 officers and soldiers to support and repair houses and state works damaged by storms and floods in Dak Lak province.
