Hanoi Long Bien District People's Committee launched a logo design contest with a budget of 350 million VND, including 150 million VND for the first prize, to find a logo for the district.

Speaking at the launching ceremony on the morning of May 24, Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha, Chairman of Long Bien District, said the contest aimed to clearly demonstrate the historical and cultural values of the land north of the capital, creating an identity to promote the image of the district with youthful and dynamic vitality. The logo is also an image to promote tourism and trade in the new period, associated with the strategy of developing tourism on the Red River and Duong River.

"We accept conflicting opinions on brand identity ideas to choose the best logo. The quality logos will be kept by the District People's Committee," said Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha.
