On the other hand, promoting the attraction of high-tech investment, in addition to the purpose of increasing revenue for the budget, is also the issue of creating jobs for people. At a recent working session between the People's Committee of Dong Nai province and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City on the content of development consulting cooperation for the period 2025-2030, Comrade Le Truong Son, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the importance of the province's high-quality human resource training strategy. Accordingly, the province hopes that the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City will research and advise the province on solutions, mechanisms and policies to mobilize universities and colleges to participate more deeply in the training process to have a high-quality human resource team, especially in key areas.

Without waiting for Long Thanh Airport to be put into operation, right from the start of construction of the airport, the winning bidder for this "billion-dollar super project" had to struggle to find many senior personnel positions in project management. Currently preparing to enter the exploitation phase, the Long Thanh Airport Labor Recruitment Council is facing many difficulties in recruiting the operating team. The Council had to extend the second deadline for receiving recruitment applications for a series of positions with attractive salaries, requiring high qualifications and good skills.
There have been quite a few foreign investors in the high-tech sector coming to Dong Nai to seek new investment opportunities, including enterprises in the semiconductor sector. For example, the US Coherent Group has only been exploring investment opportunities in Dong Nai since 2023, but by 2024, the Provincial People's Committee had granted an investment certificate to this group with 3 high-tech projects. Among them, the first semiconductor factory project has come into operation in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Park. With the remaining 2 projects, the group continues to implement investment steps, promising to soon come into operation.

Dr. Dang Anh Tuan, Vice Principal in charge of Dong Nai University, said: The Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, has determined that Dong Nai University must be a high-quality university. However, the current training scale of the school is still modest with over 5,000 students, mainly in pedagogical fields, and the facilities are still very difficult. Therefore, the school is recommending to the province many synchronous policies on facilities and high-quality human resources for training, thereby being able to increase the training scale to 15,000 students or more by 2030 and expand new training majors, including majors in the high-tech field.
Meanwhile, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Principal of Lac Hong University, said: The school is making efforts to assess training programs according to ASEAN and US standards, connect with businesses to improve training programs, and transfer technology. Along with that, the school has cooperated with foreign universities, including the US and Taiwan (China) to exchange lecturers and students, and innovate training programs. One of the key training programs that the school is aiming for is information technology, semiconductor chips, artificial intelligence, logistics, etc.
