Vietnam tennis team encouraged before departure for SEA Games 33

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky - President of Vietnam Tennis Federation shared: "SEA Games 33 is an opportunity for Vietnamese tennis athletes to compete and develop. The Federation will always follow and support every step of the team. I believe that with careful preparation, solidarity and high determination, the Vietnamese tennis team will shine in the Southeast Asian arena. I wish the whole team strength, confidence and to compete with all their might for the country's flag."

Number 1 tennis player Vu Ha Minh Duc expressed: "Being able to wear the Vietnamese tennis team jersey and compete at the SEA Games is always a great source of pride for every athlete. We have been training hard all this time and will try to compete with the highest spirit to bring good results for Vietnam."

To prepare for the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese men's and women's tennis teams gathered at the National Sports Training Center in Ho Chi Minh City. The players were given the opportunity to compete in many major international tournaments, typically M15 NovaWorld Phan Thiet with the participation of Vu Ha Minh Duc (AP Sports Club), Dinh Viet Tuan Minh (Ho Chi Minh City), Tu Le Khanh Duy (Army), or the W15 Phan Thiet tournaments of Ngo Hong Hanh (Army) and Nguyen Thi Mai Linh ( Hanoi ). In addition, the Vietnamese men's tennis team was also trained in the Davis Cup while some members of the women's team competed in the US and Canada.

In the process of rejuvenating the force, the Vietnamese tennis team does not focus on achievements, however, coach Nguyen Phi Anh Vu said that each player is determined to show the best performance. The Vietnamese tennis team left for Thailand on December 8 and participated in all events of men's team, women's team, men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles.
