The London Ao Dai Fashion Week 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 19-21, 2026 in London, England. For the first time, the Vietnamese Ao Dai will be showcased through collections by Vietnamese designers on a truly international fashion stage.
The program is sponsored by the Vietnamese Embassy in the United Kingdom, supported by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, and collaborated with many reputable organizations and associations in Europe, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam. It is considered a large-scale cultural diplomacy initiative, bringing together designers, artisans, artists, media professionals, the overseas Vietnamese community, and international partners.

According to the organizers, London Ao Dai Fashion Week 2026 will be designed as a series of interconnected activities, where culture, creativity, community, and commerce are closely linked in a cyclical experience. The focus of the event will be Ao Dai fashion shows, showcasing collections by leading Vietnamese designers on an international stage.
In addition, there will be a parade of ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) at famous and historically significant landmarks in London, aiming to honor the ao dai as a living heritage and affirm its position in the global fashion world.
As part of the event, there will also be an exhibition showcasing the finest traditional Vietnamese crafts, featuring brocade, silk, ceramics, folk paintings, handcrafted jewelry, conical hats, sedge grass bags, and environmentally friendly products. The organizers plan to hold live demonstrations of the crafting process, allowing visitors to experience the depth of heritage value.
In addition, the Vietnamese food and specialty exhibition will showcase familiar flavors such as pho, spring rolls, fried spring rolls, banh mi, along with other premium food products (dried goods, confectionery, dried fruits, traditional snacks, etc.), creating a complete Vietnamese cultural experience right in the heart of London, while also opening up opportunities for networking and business cooperation.
With the overarching message that the Vietnamese ao dai is stepping out into the world, present with its own identity – soft yet powerful; traditional yet constantly innovative; rich in heritage and ready for global dialogue – the Organizing Committee aims to build Ao Dai Fashion Week into a global brand, with the next destinations being Paris and Milan.
