The program provided delegates with opportunities to exchange information, introduce the tourism potential and products of South Korea, and showcase the strengths, unique natural and cultural heritage, and distinctive tourism products of Binh Thuan. Connecting tourism businesses from both sides not only helps increase the number of South Korean tourists visiting Binh Thuan but also opens up opportunities for cooperation in investment, development of high-end tourism services, and more effective destination promotion.

Over four days (from March 17th to 20th), the Korean Famtrip delegation visited, surveyed, and experienced the attractive and unique tourism products of Binh Thuan province, such as: NovaWorld Phan Thiet Golf Course; Po Sah Inu Tower historical site; Duc Thanh School; Wine Castle; Binh Thuan, known as one of Vietnam's leading tourist destinations, is gradually asserting its position on the international tourism map, especially after the Government approved the General Planning for the construction of the Mui Ne National Tourist Area until 2040, with a vision to 2050. Besides its beautiful natural scenery, 192 km of beaches, and mild climate year-round, Binh Thuan also boasts many famous natural landscapes and cultural relics such as: the Flying Sand Dunes, Bau Trang, Ke Ga Cape, Po Sah Inu Cham Tower, Duc Thanh School historical site, Van Thuy Tu... In addition, Binh Thuan has a unique culture of 35 ethnic groups with a system of characteristic cultural festivals, many traditional craft villages, and unique culinary arts…

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province, said that in addition to high-end tourism products such as golf, luxury beach resorts, marine sports tourism, and off-road sports tourism, Binh Thuan is focusing on developing key tourism products, namely "green" tourism, linking tourism activities with preserving and promoting resource values and protecting the environment; preserving and developing cultural tourism products associated with festivals, visiting and learning about the lives of local communities and traditional craft villages; promoting the development of eco-tourism products such as forests, waterfalls, lakes, and islands; nature-conquering tourism; adventure tourism; eco- agricultural tourism; community tourism combined with homestays; health and wellness tourism; and tourism combined with meetings, awards ceremonies, seminars, and events.

Mr. Ly Xuong Can, Ambassador of Vietnam to South Korea, said: "Following the success of the previous Binh Thuan tourism promotion event in South Korea, we will continue to actively promote Binh Thuan in the future to attract more Korean tourists. We would like to thank the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province for supporting us on this Famtrip, and we look forward to thorough cooperation to develop tourism in Binh Thuan."

South Korea has become one of the most important tourist markets for Vietnam in general and Binh Thuan province in particular. In Binh Thuan, from 2023 to the present, the number of South Korean tourists has seen a breakthrough increase. South Korean tourists particularly enjoy beach resorts, golf tourism, water sports, watching the sunrise on white sand dunes, and exploring local culture. According to statistics, in the first two months of 2025, Binh Thuan tourism welcomed over 116,000 international visitors (a 32% increase compared to the same period in 2024). Of these, South Korea continues to account for a high percentage of visitors, ranking third in terms of the number of international tourists to Binh Thuan.

The South Korean Famtrip group visited several scenic spots in Binh Thuan.
According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh, to continue attracting tourists from South Korea, Binh Thuan province will work with local authorities and tourism businesses in the province to develop preferential policies and stimulus programs for South Korean tourism businesses bringing tourists to Binh Thuan. At the same time, it will create conditions to provide maximum support for South Korean investors to invest in and develop tourism products in Binh Thuan, and for businesses from both sides to effectively exploit existing potential. In addition, the province will focus on developing new, attractive tourism programs and products that suit the needs of South Koreans.

At the event, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province signed a cooperation program with the Representative Office for Tourism Promotion of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration in South Korea. The Binh Thuan Tourism Association and Hanatour Group (South Korea) also signed a cooperation program to organize the welcoming of South Korean tourists to Binh Thuan in the near future.
