On November 29, the Vietnamese Embassy in China coordinated with Wumart Group and Goodfarmer Group to organize the event "Vietnamese Goods Day in China and Vietnamese Fruit Festival" at the Wumart retail supermarket in Beijing.

This is one of the substantive activities to implement the common perception of the two countries' senior leaders on promoting bilateral trade cooperation as well as implementing the Government 's project "Promoting Vietnamese enterprises to directly participate in foreign distribution networks by 2030".

At the event, dozens of Vietnamese brands with diverse products such as bird's nest and products processed from bird's nest, coffee, fresh and dried fruits and fruit drinks, cashew nuts, candies, rice, etc. were displayed and introduced to Chinese consumers.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh said that in recent years, the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China has been developing very well, in which economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has been increasingly deep and wide, achieving many important and positive results. China is a country with more than 1.4 billion people with a huge demand for consumer goods in general and food in particular, and increasingly demanding quality. This is a great opportunity for high-quality consumer goods from Vietnam. Up to now, Vietnam has exported many agricultural, forestry and fishery products to China, which are all favored by Chinese consumers.

Through the program, the Vietnamese Embassy in China hopes to support Vietnamese products and brands to access distribution networks and retail supermarkets in China, marking an important step in promoting and facilitating Vietnamese goods to participate in China's distribution network.

Meanwhile, Mr. Liu Ziqiu, CEO of Good Farmer Group, said that Vietnam is the “golden production area” for Good Farmer’s global supply chain. The Group benefits greatly from cooperating with leading partners in selecting premium fruits, bringing these high-quality fruits from “Vietnamese gardens” to “Chinese dining tables”. Thereby, Vietnamese fruits at Good Farmer have been able to reach thousands of households with unchanged freshness, winning the hearts of countless consumers.

At the event, Chinese consumers highly appreciated Vietnamese products.

In the exciting atmosphere of the year of people-to-people exchange between Vietnam and China, the event is not only a trade promotion program, but also contributes to building a cultural and economic bridge, strengthening the comprehensive friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and China.
