According to a VNA reporter in Laos, on November 25, in Vientiane, the Lao Foreign Ministry Women's Association organized the 2025 Tea Party for female diplomats, spouses of diplomatic corps and representatives of international organizations working in Laos.
At this year's event, the exhibition booth of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, with the theme "80 years of Vietnam's diplomacy: peace and development," briefly but vividly introduced images of Vietnam's people, culture and development achievements, thereby emphasizing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
The performances by the Vietnamese troupe also left a strong impression, bringing deep and impressive emotions to the audience.
Speaking to a VNA reporter, Ms. Grata Endah Werdaningtyas, Indonesian Ambassador to Laos, highly appreciated the performance of the Vietnamese delegation, saying that the program harmoniously combined acting and music , fully conveying emotions to the audience.
In particular, the performance "What could be more beautiful" recreating Vietnam's resistance period vividly depicted the heroic spirit and great sacrifices of the Vietnamese army and people in the journey to gain independence and peace.

According to the Indonesian Ambassador, the theme chosen by the Vietnamese Embassy this time shows the image of a dynamic, creative Vietnam that is increasingly asserting its position in the region.
As an active member of ASEAN, Vietnam has always contributed to the common cohesion and development. In Laos, the Vietnamese Embassy has also carried out many practical activities, contributing to promoting cooperation and consolidating Vietnam's role in the ASEAN community.
In addition, the Vietnamese Embassy's food booth brought many traditional dishes typical of each region such as grilled spring rolls, tapioca dumplings, sticky rice cakes, pomelo sweet soup, and a five-fruit tray with delicately carved fruits.
Through this, Vietnam wishes to introduce the beauty of culture and the richness of national cuisine to international friends in a close and attractive way.

As someone who has lived and worked in Vietnam, Ms. Heather Variava, US Ambassador to Laos, shared that she loves Vietnamese cuisine. During her 3 years living in Vietnam, she had the opportunity to enjoy many dishes and was always attracted by the unique and sophisticated flavors of Vietnamese cuisine.
The US Ambassador also expressed his impression of the Vietnamese ao dai, saying it was wonderful that Vietnamese cultural symbols - from cuisine to costumes - were vividly introduced at this year's Tea Party event.
According to the US Ambassador, it was wonderful to experience Vietnamese culture. The Vietnamese booth was very carefully prepared, with many typical dishes and beautiful design, bringing a rich culinary experience.
The 2025 Tea Party is an annual diplomatic activity aimed at creating a space for meeting, exchanging, and introducing to international friends the unique cultural features of each country; at the same time, sharing experiences in foreign affairs, contributing to strengthening solidarity, friendship and mutual support in promoting relations between countries in the region and the world./.
